As promised, I got up early, joined Elizabeth via Skype, tuned into the coverage of the Royal Wedding. And I’m so glad I did. I felt like I was a part of history.
Prince William looked very dapper in his red military suit, and who could criticize Kate’s elegant choice of dress. It was simply stunning! I snapped a few pictures as they gathered out on the balcony of Buckingham Palace so here they are!

I am so glad I watched. It was a beautiful ceremony, but it didn’t feel overly stuffy or pretentious. I really think that William and Kate will be focused on the people. Diana taught him well.
